H2-O Resets Hip-Hop's Current State Of Mind Posted:Monday - June 21, 2010
It's rare to find a rapper willing to truly bare his soul for his music. But insane, out of control, metaphysically impossible rhyme spitter H2-O is ready to share his undeniable view on today's music industry with his upcoming mixtape "RESET", available on July 13, 2010.
"'RESET' is a radical concept that challenges everyone to examine their views, perspectives, personal relationships and themselves as a person. These challenges are brought to the forefront by listening to my mixtape which speaks to all of the aforementioned from different approaches," says H2-O.
"RESET" is the sequel to the New York rapper’s critically acclaimed debut mixtape, 2009’s "TESER" ("RESET" backwards). Authoritative at times, burlesque at others, the release was a whirlwind of lyrical dexterity and earned H2-O a coveted spot in The Source as "Unsigned Hype" in August 2009.
Fresh off his most successful mixtape to date, "A La Carte", which gained a total of over 20,000 downloads on the Internet, H2-O now proudly presents "RESET".
"This project represents growth both musically and mentally" says H2-O. "The purpose of the project was to bring to the forefront much of the bullsh*t that is currently in Hip-Hop and to challenge all people including fans, artists, and executives alike to 'RESET' their perspectives on our music".
Once you consider that and add H2-O's passion and personal experiences, there is enough to decide whether you, the listeners, are also ready to "RESET".
